Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool Blocked in Khephren Thuram Pursuit as Juventus Declare Midfielder 'Untouchable'

‎Juventus have rejected multiple transfer approaches from Premier League giants Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool for French midfielder Khephren Thuram. The Serie A club remain firm in their stance, confirming that Thuram and attacking prospect Kenan Yildiz are considered “untouchable” as part of their future plans.

‎According to TBR Football, Juventus general manager Daniel Comolli intends to secure long-term extensions for both Thuram and Yildiz. The pair are seen as foundational to the club’s rebuilding strategy. Despite earlier speculation suggesting financial pressures could lead to a sale, Juventus have reinforced their commitment to keeping Thuram as a central figure in their midfield.
‎Liverpool had previously tracked Thuram’s development under Jürgen Klopp in 2023, before his transfer to Juventus from Nice the following year. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and Tottenham boss Thomas Frank are also reported to have the 23-year-old midfielder on their shortlists for upcoming transfer windows, highlighting continued Premier League interest.
‎Since joining Juventus in 2024, Thuram has made 58 appearances, contributing six goals and nine assists. The midfielder’s consistent displays earned him a call-up to the France national team by Didier Deschamps, where he made his first start in a 3–0 win over Azerbaijan last Friday. As the son of Juventus legend Lilian Thuram, the younger Thuram’s development continues to attract attention across Europe.
‎Juventus aim to fend off further Premier League pursuit as they prepare for their next Serie A fixture against Cesc Fàbregas’s Como. Coach Igor Tudor faces growing scrutiny after five consecutive draws, and victory is crucial as the club seek to reignite their title challenge. Juventus last lifted the Serie A trophy in 2020, and the retention of key players like Thuram is central to their ambitions.
